Moses Egesa is a PhD student at Makerere University currently finalising his thesis on parasite immunology under co-supervision of Dr Stephen Cose (MRC/UVRI & LSHTM) and Professor Maria Yazdanbakhsh (Leiden University Medical Centre). Moses was supported by a Wellcome Trust Uganda PhD Fellowship in Infection and Immunity funded by a Wellcome Trust Strategic Award and received additional support from the DELTAS Africa Initiative and TheSchistoVac consortium. He is a coinvestigator on a grant at Uganda Virus Research Institute to prepare for Schistosoma mansoni Controlled Human Infection Studies in Uganda funded by the HIC-Vac network supported by the GCRF networks in vaccine research and development.
